Estate Planning for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities and Their Families
Our firm assists families in planning the transfer of their assets to persons with special needs so that disabled individuals can benefit from inheritance yet still qualify for valuable governmental programs such as Supplemental Security Income and Title 19 (Medical Assistance). Our attorneys review life insurance and retirement benefits to make certain that disabled family members can benefit from these assets without losing their governmental benefits. We assist the elderly in preserving their personal assets against expensive nursing homes, assisted living or other health care expenses in the future.
