I think it is a very big stretch to find your ad violating the Fair Housing laws since you are not restricting your applicants to any specific religion but merely identifying where your rental property is located.  But I guess by mentioning the specific church it could be construed that you are seeking a tenant that would attend said church - kind of ridiculous in my opinion.</description>

In the City of Mosinee, St Paul&#039;s church is a fairly significant landmark in downtown, and I have an apartment building just behind it.  So, in my ad, I stated something like &quot;2 BR apartment, all util included, behind St Paul church.&quot;

I guess had I said behind the large church, I would have been okay.. but my naming the church specifically, it was a violation.

I agree this is an important topic to cover... however on my radio show last night, I discussed briefly the proposal in Wisconsin to make victims of domestic violence a protected class.... and one of my first thoughts was how sad is it that such a rule is even needed.</description>
